MAX™ 557 NHS Ester

Abmax 524 nm Emmax 557 nm
Molecular Weight: 619.7

MAX is most often used as a dye to multiplex with FAM™. Its spectral profile is nearly identical to VIC® and can be used as a VIC® substitute. Importantly, MAX is efficiently excited by either a 488 nm laser or a broad emission light source, and therefore can be used with most commercial detection platforms. MAX is conjugated post-synthesis to an amino-modified oligo as an NHS-ester dye.

3Prime maintains the chemical structures of Iowa Black FQ, Iowa Black RQ and certain other fluorescent dye supports as proprietary trade secrets and thus does not publish the chemical structures to our website.  3Prime can disclose those structures pursuant to a confidentiality agreement, which would prohibit their broader publication to third parties.
